NEWS: It's On With Alexa Chung- CANCELLED

After December 17th, it was announced that It's On With Alexa Chung will be off the air. First TRL, and now this? Ah , remember the good days where MTV focused on music rather than people are desperately looking for dates?

"First of all, Britain humor is far more scandalous than American humor… on TV that is, so she couldn’t really be her true self for MTV’s young American audience. Secondly, her show aired around 4pm. I understand it was aimed for kids getting out of school, but really? Alexa fans are a bit older and are at work during this time, I highly doubt the average high school teen will know who Alexa Chung is, or even CARE for that matter. Thirdly, I just think there wasn’t enough MTV promotion backing her show, they had some great marketing ideas that included twitter, but that’s about it.

Yea fine, I watched a show or two and was disappointed, but I wasn’t surprised because the Alexa most of us (and by “us” I mean those who follow the fashion industry and gawk at beautiful models on “inspirational” blogs/sites) know is a foul mouthed, rambunctious Brit with keen sense of thrift couture. How are young, impressionable, Fall Out Boy or Kid Cudi fankids supposed to relate to a host like Alexa?

Not possible.

So after just 2 seasons, MTV is pulling the plug on the show. Oh well, I’m sure Alexa will be successful regardless and may be happy to get to go back home to Britain? Good luck Lady!"

WIWT : Purple & Black bow

WHAT I WORE TODAY ( well not really today,but couple of days ago. Heheh):


Ahh , just came back from school. I think it was pouring a bit, so excuse my messy hair! I wanted to show off the bow I finish making:

So, I added a purple t-shirt from H&M to match, black jeans, a black cardigan that has tan buttons running down in the front, and the black waist belt with gold studs. The belt looks like it belongs to a championship wrestler! Then, my new white flats (a bargain! 9 smackeroonies!) to take brighten up the black overdose.
